Aniela’s love of the body and how it works came before she decided to train as a physio, first achieving a bachelor of science in human biology before completing her masters in physiotherapy.
The patient group that has always inspired her most is the neurological and complex elderly population who generally have multiple impairments to address, most of the time requiring out of the box thinking with problem solving ideas. She believes that rehabilitation should be fun and challenging with an emphasis on working closely with patients to create sessions which help them to achieve goals most important to them.
She has had further teaching of Bobath and Neurofit concepts post graduation and loves to explain why and what within rehab sessions.
Outside of work, Aniela enjoys great food (which is not cooked by her) and spending time with friends dabbling in all sorts of activities. Once a keen backpacker, traveling is still very much on the agenda and one day hopes to tick off all the many places she would like to visit across the world.
